The Bundle Is Real Value

We will start where Bizee is strongest, because it genuinely is strong here. Buy an LLC formation package and the agent role comes included for a stretch of three to twelve months, with the length set by the tier you picked. That is not a coupon or a rebate. It is a legally required service supplied at no charge during the stretch when a new company has the least cash on hand, and if you were forming in Maine anyway, it is money you did not spend.

Then a Date Arrives

The included window closes and standalone billing begins at $149 a year. Nothing improper about that. It sat in the terms when you bought. The problem is that the transition is quiet.

No decision gets made on the conversion date. A card gets charged, and the buyer who compared providers eleven months earlier is not comparing anything now. That date deserves a calendar entry the day you order. Three months means a bill inside your first quarter. Twelve months means a bill that can land close to the June 1 season, when a Maine LLC is already occupied with its annual report and is least likely to scrutinize a separate charge from a separate vendor.

Why Ours Has Nothing to Convert Into

The part that does not fit inside a link is the ordering. 5 M.R.S. § 105 requires the appointment to name somebody, so a replacement has to be in place before the paperwork means anything at all. Sign up, mail the form, wait for the state record to show the new name, and cancel Bizee last. Cancelling first is the version that goes wrong, and it goes wrong at the worst possible moment, which is whenever a process server happens to turn up.

Timing tip specific to the bundle: file during the free months rather than after them. Nothing in Maine law ties this switch to a billing cycle, so the earliest convenient business day works, and moving early means the $149 never posts in the first place.
